About Me

You may wonder “who is this mysterious guy behind the mess known as Gaming Made Inconveniently” or you just don’t care. The thought of someone caring about my writing sounds preposterous, but it is most likely that you, the reader are on this page to find out more about me and why I do what I do. I will be careful about what I say, and no, I will not give out my standard personal information like phone numbers or my last name. If you want that stuff, I pity you very much and I suggest you get medical help or to stare at the sun for at least 30 seconds (The pain means that it’s working).

Let’s cut to the chase now. My name is Andrew and the Greek meaning of said name is “masculine”, but in reality I am not in shape enough to be fit for my name, however I am not a fat, short guy, but rather a skinny, non-muscular 150 lb guy and also stands over six feet tall. In the last IQ test that I took that was taken a while ago, my IQ was about 136, which is proficient enough to brag about. I have dark brown hair, brown eyes and have often been compared to Justin Long of the Mac commercials and from such movies as Accepted and Dodgeball.

When I get out of school, I want to do some form of work in the video games field, and I know it is a lot of hard work just like any other job, but with the subject of something that I enjoy. The jobs that have stuck out to me the most is game journalism, because I would feel more useful playing a game and then writing about it and come Friday, getting paid. After a fair number of years in the journalism sector of things I aspire to work for LucasArts, Rockstar, or go on up to Canada to BioWare. Why those places? For BioWare and Rockstar it is the quality storytelling that goes on in their games that I would love to participate in. I also love the Star Wars universe, games, and sound design, so LucasArts would be the more realistic workplaces of the few, because of its central nearness to my hometown and current location.

Among all my flaws, I also have acquired numerous qualities that are both good and bad. For example, I have a softspot for western RPGs. I don’t know if that is good or bad, but so far it has gotten me through many points of social insanity. I am also competetive, but more on the lines of underground-competetive. I quess you can say that I am a stealthy competetor who knows a thing or two about the Star Wars Sith Era. Most of the time, I would rather be watching a good movie, playing a good game, and making good trash fires… but enough about me, tell me some more interesting things about you… I’m joking. Similar to you not caring about me, I really don’t care much about you, unless you are a successful game company looking for an intern after a certain someone finishes high school.
